TITLE 345 INDIANA STATE BOARD OF ANIMAL HEALTH

Notice of Public Hearing
LSA Document #21-34

Notice of Public Hearing

Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on July 13, 2021, at 9:30 a.m., at the Indiana State Board of Animal Health (BOAH), 1202 East 38th Street, Discovery Hall Suite 100, Indianapolis, Indiana, the BOAH will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule that amends BOAH rules governing sheep and goats. The primary purpose of the changes is to conform BOAH's rules to the United States Department of Agriculture - Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA-APHIS) Scrapie Program Standards Volume 1: National Scrapie Eradication Program, dated April 25, 2019. It also amends 345 IAC 5 to update the incorporation by reference of the Voluntary Scrapie Flock Certification Program (SFCP) Standards to Volume 2, dated May 2016.
The proposed rule does not impose costs beyond what is expressly required by state and federal law. Therefore, the proposed rule does not impose costs on a regulated entity that would require a justification statement under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).
Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana State Board of Animal Health, 1202 East 38th Street, Discovery Hall Suite 100, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection and copying.
